Under NoDe, our fourth cohort brings together 10 diverse CSOs, each contributing unique expertise and perspectives. From advancing indigenous rights and disability inclusion to environmental stewardship and youth empowerment, these organisations are driving meaningful change across Northeast India. Together, they form the heart of NoDe's mission — a collaborative community building sustainable impact across the region.
Bodoland Development Foundation
Assam
Bodoland Development Foundation (BDF) is a non-profit committed to inclusive and sustainable development across the Bodoland Territorial Region of Assam. It uplifts marginalized communities through targeted interventions in skill development, sustainable livelihoods, agriculture, women's empowerment, and rural entrepreneurship — addressing the region's long-standing socio-economic challenges through participatory, policy-driven approaches.
Centre for Relief and Rehabilitation
Assam
Centre for Relief and Rehabilitation focuses on livelihood, education, and community support. CRR promotes sustainable opportunities for marginalized farmers and women through traditional farming, kitchen gardens, food security, and access to government schemes. It supports children through community-based education and library services, and actively engages in relief work during emergencies and community crises.
Development Outreach Network Society (DONetS)
Nagaland
DONetS is guided by environmental stewardship, community participation, and inclusive development. It empowers women and youth, promotes sustainable livelihoods, and advances education. Committed to equity, transparency, and collaboration, DONetS fosters innovative, locally driven solutions to build resilient communities where people and nature thrive together.
Indigenous Women and Children Foundation
Manipur
Indigenous Women and Children Foundation works to create a just and inclusive society where all people enjoy well-being, social equity, and sustainable development. Its mission is to advance and protect the inherent rights of indigenous women, children, and youth — promoting respect across all levels of society through meaningful participation and the principles of human dignity.
Grace Trust
Assam
Grace Trust works for the upliftment of underprivileged rural communities through education, healthcare, and livelihood projects. At the heart of its work is The Friendship Academy — a model school fostering critical thinking and cultural belonging. Its livelihood work empowers SHGs and youth with diversified income sources and builds resilience against disaster-related losses.
Maria Bianchi Social Care Ministry
Manipur
Maria Bianchi Social Care Ministry (MBSCM) is an entirely women-led voluntary NGO working for an equitable, secular society where peace and justice prevail. Its mission is to reach out to the weaker sections of society — irrespective of tribal culture, religion, or political affiliation — focusing on health and education through self-reliance and community participation.
Relief Centre for the Welfare of Differently Abled Persons
Manipur
Relief Centre for the Welfare of Differently Abled Persons is committed to promoting dignity, equality, and inclusion of Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) through a rights-based approach. Its mission is to formulate and coordinate diverse activities that unlock the hidden talents and potential of differently abled and vulnerable persons in Manipur, guided by Unity, Sacrifice, and Upliftment.
Social Development Forum

Social Development Forum (SDF) is an NGO dedicated to promoting sustainable development and addressing key social challenges across Assam. SDF empowers individuals — especially women, youth, and marginalized groups — through sustainable practices and community participation, working to bring deprived communities into the mainstream through livelihood opportunities.
Tazei Foundation

Tazei Foundation promotes holistic education, entrepreneurship, health and well-being, and environmental stewardship. Its mission is to unlock human potential through inclusive healthcare, entrepreneurial empowerment, and climate resilience — especially in underserved regions like Tamenglong and Noney Districts of Manipur.
Ya_All (The Youth Network)
Manipur
Ya_All works at the intersections of gender, health, and well-being by creating safe spaces, developing community leadership, and strengthening support systems for young key populations. Its mission is to educate, equip, and empower adolescents and youth through advocacy, research, and capacity building in health, education, skill building, livelihoods, storytelling, and sports.
