Under NoDe, our first cohort brings together 13 diverse CSOs, each contributing unique expertise and perspectives. From transforming livelihoods and addressing climate challenges to amplifying women's voices and strengthening local governance, these organisations are at the forefront of change in Northeast India.
Ajagar Social Circle
Assam
A grassroots organization working in Assam's remote districts to support vulnerable communities. ASC focuses on livelihoods, education, health and nutrition, WASH, skill development, and relief work โ building resilient, inclusive, and self-reliant communities.
AMAN Foundation
Assam
A grassroots nonprofit working with marginalized communities in flood-prone char areas. Through the AMAN Education Program and AMAN Fellowship, the foundation empowers children and youth, focusing on education, youth leadership, sustainable livelihoods, and disaster relief.
Altruism Society Honour Assistance

ASHA empowers marginalized children, women, and communities across livelihoods, livestock management, disaster management, and education โ with a strong focus on community-led development and support for distressed individuals.

MOSONiE Socio-Economic Foundation

Founded in 2016 by young women, MOSONiE focuses on sustainable agriculture, health and hygiene, and livelihoods. Key initiatives include solar-powered spinning machines, black pepper cultivation, reusable sanitary pads, and fruit tree planting to build community resilience.

PESCH empowers marginalized communities through livelihoods, education, and natural resource management. Active across Manipur and Assam, it promotes sustainable agriculture and has supported over 7,000 families in 57 villages.

RAS builds self-reliant and dignified communities through sustainable livelihoods, relief support, and sustainable environment practices โ addressing the core needs of rural populations in Manipur.

Established in 1988, RBA (now RBCC โ Rongmei Baptist Churches Council) uplifts rural communities through capacity building, sustainable market-based livelihoods, and community health and sanitation. Committed to inclusive, values-driven service across Northeast India.

Founded in 1985 and active in over 350 villages, RNBA promotes inclusive rural development through livelihoods, natural resource management, and education โ with a strong emphasis on gender equality and tribal empowerment.
Sanjog
Assam
Since 2014, Sanjog has empowered rural communities through climate resilience, gender inclusion, and economic upliftment โ reaching over 4,000 people through women-led mushroom cultivation, climate-smart farming (AWD), and solar-powered livelihood tools.
