Under NoDe, our second cohort brings together 6 diverse CSOs, each contributing unique expertise and perspectives. From transforming livelihoods and addressing climate challenges to amplifying women's voices and strengthening local governance, these organisations are at the forefront of change in Northeast India.
Navoday Foundation
Assam
Navoday Foundation is a non-profit established in December 2016 by Purna Chetry, rooted in the remote Baksa district of Assam. Dedicated to uplifting the most marginalized communities, its primary focus is on strengthening rural livelihoods especially among women through scientific mushroom cultivation.
Samaritan Resource Centre (SRC)
Manipur
Samaritan Resource Centre (SRC) is a grassroots voluntary organization based in Manipur, committed to holistic community development. Originally established in 1982 and restructured in 2005, SRC works across the state to promote peacebuilding, education, health, gender justice, environmental sustainability, and livelihood development.
Rilum Foundation for Sustainable Development (RFSD)

Rilum Foundation for Sustainable Development (RFSD) is a grassroots nonprofit established in May 2001 and based in Shillong, Meghalaya. Operating primarily in the East Khasi Hills, RFSD focuses on participatory community development.

DAWN is a non-political, non-profit organization established in 2011. The organization focuses on promoting the general welfare of rural communities through initiatives in socio-economic development, education, environment, and sustainable empowerment of underserved populations.

Socio Economic Development Organization (SEDO) is a grassroots nonprofit based in Assam's Dhemaji district, working to uplift marginalized communities through interventions in child development, mental health, maternal hygiene, nutrition, livelihoods, and disaster resilience.
